Clothes Donation Drive

The Community Service Team at RC Wilson’s conducted a warm and successful clothes donation drive on 13th February, 2022. We collaborated with the organization, ‘Sahayata for Helping People.’ The volunteers decided to go to the location (near Oberoi Mall, Goregaon) and distribute the clothes themselves. They took their time to segregate and match the clothes according to the sizes of the children and the elderly.

Mr. Jignesh Waghela, the director at Sahayata gave us an insight on the way people lead street life. We received knowledge pertaining to what and how to donate appropriately, trying to make the most out of a donation. Volunteers from the organization helped us conduct activities for the children.

Newscoops

We at RC Wilson’s believe that the ability to bring about change is within us. We did so in the form of precise articles and impactful, bold news headings. Like minded individuals under Team Editorial joint hands and released on these three different themes: Comedians on Politics, LGBTQIA+ and Prostitution.

We aimed at spreading awareness on the topics that people still view as taboos or are oblivious about. We received an unexpected positive response, with a show of support in our views.

Gratitude

We often set reminders to go collect our laundry, or to drink water. Or to submit an assignment at the last moment. As Valentine’s Day approached, we at RCWC took this time to remind our loved ones what their presence in our life means.

It's a day to celebrate love, may it be with friends, family or our significant others. We took to our writing skills honed by love and the cute, meaningful moments they hold.
