Quarter 2

Annapurna

Annapurna is a Sanskrit word which means full of food. Our basic aim was to reach out to the people who need us and not let them sleep hungry. This project was conducted with the immense support of Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex. 

Those cheerful smiles and happy faces made this project an amazing one. 

Cataract free Palghar

Rotaract Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex with the support of Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex conducted this project on 23rd November. The aim of this project was basically to help people in Palghar who are suffering from cataract and reach out to them for a better chance at having good sight. 

The interaction and response from people made it an amazing one.

Generate a smile

Rotaract Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex with the Support of Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex did this project at Dr Ernest Borges Cancer Home at BKC Mumbai by distributing groceries and making their Diwali a special one. 

This project was conducted on 3rd of November 2021. We spent some quality time with them and making them smile made this project a resounding success.

Blood Donation Drive

Rotaract Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex took on the opportunity to participate in the ‘Blood Donation Drive’ held by Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex at Bandra station west. The camp was held for two days. 

There were 200 donors who donated blood and helped in saving lives. The blood donation camp was assisted by the Sion Hospital Mumbai. It was a successful camp with the Rotary members and fellow Rotaracters.

Quarter 3

Cycle Donation

Rotaract Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex in collaboration with its parent Rotary, Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex carried out this event at Saphale. These cycles were distributed to the students who walk 3 to 4 kms everyday to reach school. 

This event was organized to help make their school life easier. This event was carried out successfully on 22nd February 2022.

Generate a smile

Rotaract Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex with the support of Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex celebrated New Year at Snehasadan house no 11 (which is specially for girls) by sharing some goodies and playing games with them. 

It was a really great experience for us to be able to share joy with others. The event was a resounding success for RCMBKC. 

Women Empowerment

This amazing event, 'Women Empowerment' was carried out with Rotary Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex and Jaslok Hospital staff. In this initiative the head doctor of Jaslok hospital guided the nurses about self care and health. 

Self defence techniques were taught to them as it's important for every woman to be able to defend herself .

Cricktalk

Rotaract Club of Mumbai Bandra Kurla Complex organized an event called 'Cricktalk'. We invited speaker Mr. Ajinkya Patil. He has played CCI, Air India and is a Mumbai T20 player. He runs a cricket academy at Azad Maidan named New Era where he trains the upcoming cricket youth. 

We arranged this talk because fitness and guidance regarding sports today is really important and needed. It was an interactive and successful session.
